Making crème brûlée

On Saturday we went to Albany mall. We were in a cooking shop and we  decided to get a new blow torch (because our old one broke in the earthquake). So we bought that and when got home we thought we could  make a creme brulee  using our new torch (on Sunday when we had more time) . On Sunday morning after we had breakfast Dad and I started looking for recipes,We found a Jamie Oliver one that seemed good, also knowing that Jamie Oliver is a highly recommended good cook.

We then had to get all of the ingredients ready to start making the crème brûlée. On Saturday we had gone to the supermarket and bought some thickened cream because we know that you need that in all creme brulee. After we got all the ingredients ready we started following the recipe to make the creme part of the Brulee .after we had done that we had to put it in the oven and let it cook. Once it had cooked we had to cool it in the fridge for a while and later on that night we got the raw sugar and sprinkled that over the top of the creme  and used our new blow torch to create the Brulee, this is the melted sugar topping.

just letting you know it was so delicious and I loved it so much I could eat a whole tub of it probably not in one-night but over time!

Blog comments for Amys reading workshop

For my reading workshop I have to read blogs and give responsive feedback to the students

MY comment on Irina's blog (LINK)
Irinas blog was quite easy to give feedback on because it had lots of detail in it and i found it really good.

My comment on Jorja's blog (LINK)
Jorjas blog was also easy to write because there wsent much on ti so i just had to say what really needed to be there .

My comment on Kayla's blog (LINK)
Kaylas blog was a bit harder to write about because she has alot on there and it had alo of detail but it was really good .
